This is what me and my friends call Single White Femaling someone. (Because of that creepy 1992 movie about a girl who copies everything her roommate does.) Not that it’s creepy that Kelly Clarkson has decided to copyMiranda Lambert‘s girl band idea. In this case, it’s more of the imitation-is-the-sincerest-form-of-flattery kind of copying. Already Famous, which consists of Clarkson, Jill Pickering and Kate Rapier, is reportedly already in the studio making music. And they tweeted that, yes, they are indeed following in Lambert’s footsteps. “I love the Pistol Annies! We have a very different sound but I do love theirs! I can’t wait for their album!” So now we have two girl groups to look forward to. One country, one pop. To get a feel for what this Already Famous band will sound like, listen to their uber casual cover of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” and get ready to be blown away by Clarkson’s voice once again.

So this morning one of the labels came in and played us the brand new track from Kelly Clarkson. I heard the leak a few months ago, and let me tell you this is not it! The track is called “Mr. Know It All” and it is AMAZING! Kelly still has the huge powerful voice, but does some new things with it and incorporates some great drum beats and tempo.
In my opinion the background has a “Just the Way You Are” sound and I instantly compared the vocal to Pink, with how raspy Kelly tries to go with it.
Unfortunately, I was not allowed to keep the copy, but got to listen to it twice. The single officially drops on AUgust 30th, but as soon as I can put it up here I will and I am sure you will be hearing it on MyFM!

It’s official the new single will be “Mr. Know It All” written by Brett James. He wrote songs such like ”Cowboy Casanova” and “Jesus, Take The Wheel” by Carrie Underwood. He also wrote the song with Estear Dean and Bryan Kennedy.
Estear Dean has an extensive collection of pop hits. Some of them: Rude Boy, What’s My Name? and S&M (Rihanna), Firework (Katy Perry), Super Bass (Nicki Minaj), Right There and Wet (Nicole Scherzinger) among others, as some of Britney Spears, Beyonce and Chris Brown.
Bryan Kennedy has also a good list: See No More (Joe Jonas), Disturbia (Rihanna) and others non-single songs by Westlife, Ciara, Jennifer Hudson.
It’s confirmed on the August 31th the single will be released
